Applications

Sending an application is not an outcome. Record what came back, and the rate tells you whether the CV is the problem or the targeting is.

Five small white paper cards laid left to right on a warm grey desk, each labelled app_00123 through app_00127, a red stamp on the right-most card, and a single small burnt-orange dot above the right-most card marking the one that advanced

Record what came back

This is the part the old tracker never did. A rejection, a silent no, or a screening call, logged the day you hear it.

Researched 23 October 2026. Every row says where its date came from. A date marked unverified came from web research and the URL was reachable, which proves the page exists and not that the date is right. Open it before you plan around it. Deadlines shown as seen on own dashboard are the ones you read yourself, which is the stronger source.

Already closed

Recorded so the same door is not knocked on twice. Four of these were good fits and are gone for this cycle, which is the real argument for checking the calendar rather than working from memory.

Fit watch

Roles close without warning, and the ones that close first are often the best fit. This list is what your saved-and-forgotten applications looked like: gone, and gone quietly.
